Mumford & Sons, Soundgarden, The Killers and Ed Sheeran will play the sixth season of American Public Television’s Live from the Artists Den series. “It’s really special playing in a room like this,” Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford said in a statement of filming the band’s episode at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. “It’s not often we get to do so, and we really enjoy it.” |

It’s hard to believe that Live From the Artists Den has started its fifth season. While carrying on its tradition of filming bands performing in non-traditional spaces, Artists Den is offering webisodes of the first season for download at the Artists Den Store. Available now are videos of Aimee Mann playing in a cathedral, the Hold Steady in New York City’s Old Emigrant Savings Bank Building, Ani DiFranco in a museum and Patty Griffin in a synagogue.
