  • Graphic Designer

    Full Time Position

    The Artists Den is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team immediately. We are a tightly knit group of creatives working to innovate how people discover and watch live music. We are looking for someone who believes in our vision, and who will help visually craft our story. You will be working with some of the top music artists in entertainment, broadcast partners around the world, and have the chance to visit some of the most beautiful venues where we film our concerts for global broadcast.

    We produce our series in partnership with brands; a key aspect of this role will be creatively bringing together the brand values and aesthetics of the Artists Den and its partners.

    Who You Are:

    – A detail-oriented designer with very strong typography and layout skills
    – Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    – Experience in generating digital and print design
    – Experience creating pitch and recap decks for brand partners in the luxury space
    – Experience creating on-site brand activations for luxury partners
    – Background/familiarity with luxury lifestyle brands
    – Conceptual/working knowledge of HTML/ CSS

    You’ll help us create our overall fan and brand experience including mail blasts, banner ads, social media assets to send to our database and release on our social platforms, as well as graphics for our video and television broadcast. You will help us enhance marketing materials for both artists and brand partnerships. On show days, you have the opportunity to join a live TV production team and learn from the experience.

  • Artists Den Internship | Fall – Winter 2017

    OVERVIEW:

    The Artists Den produces extraordinary concerts in exceptional settings for the acclaimed TV series, Live from the Artists Den. The series creates one of a kind premium shows with the biggest names in music – from Adele to John Legend to Mumford & Sons–which are broadcast worldwide on premium TV and digital culture networks including PBS, Spotify and Major International TV homes.

    OPPORTUNITY:

    Work for a leading entertainment company based in Flatiron district and gain invaluable experience working in the trenches with our Heads of Production, Creative Services, Marketing and the rest of our passionate team. Join weekly planning and production meetings. Learn at the leading franchise in music culture and develop skills in, entertainment marketing, film and television production.

    DESCRIPTION:

    • Social media team, tasked with engaging and growing our TV, digital, mobile and social audiences
    •  Track growth statistics for our weekly marketing campaigns (social platforms & mailing list)
    •  Brainstorming + idea generation for partnerships with culturally appropriate brands
    •  Research partners and drive value for all of our partners
    •  Generate creative ideas for our artists, contests and content
    •  Support long-term projects that help shape the development of the brand

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Candidates should have a passion for music and/or television production, a strong work ethic, research skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required. Photoshop knowledge a plus. Marketing background preferred.

  • Associate Video Editor

    Who You Are

    The Artists Den is seeking a part or full-time Associate Video Editor to join our team this Winter. We are a tightly knit group of creatives working to innovate how people discover and watch live music. We are looking for someone who believes in our vision, and will push us to new heights in pursuing that vision. You will be working with top musical acts, premiere luxury brand partners, and domestic and international broadcasters.

    Who you are:

    A talented and ambitious editor and content creator with a background in short form branded content and strong interest in music. Available 20-50 hours per week as key member of our post-production team.

    Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of experience as a short-form content creator
    • Agency experience a plus
    • Passionate and enthusiastic about music, culture, and advertising
    • Expert with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects, as well as Final Cut Pro 7
    • Media management and ingest experience
    • Working knowledge of video codecs and outputs
    • Some background in video production, shooting required
    • Color correction and DaVinci Resolve experience a plus
    • Extremely detail-oriented
    • Positive, collaborative approach
    • Relevant college degree required

    Tasks will include:

    • Editing short form video content for business and promotional use
    • Working with content, marketing, and partnerships teams to develop and execute new video ideas
    • Logging and transcoding footage from shoots
    • Assistant editing full television episode
    • Creating and placing graphics and titles for videos
    • Preparing and delivering episodes to broadcast partners
    • Work with pre-production team to prepare b-roll plan for episode tapings
    • Assist with shooting b-roll on the day of episode tapings
    • Assist content team with maintaining and developing post-production documents and organizational systems, including transcripts, cue sheets, and log-sheets.
