The Show
Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley performs in his London home and gives a remarkable tour of his townhouse. Bayley, who is clad in stylish beige overalls and does some ambitious camerawork with his iPhone, gives a very detailed inspection of his enviable home studio. Amid all sorts of memorabilia, bric-a-brac and geegaws, look out for indoor palm trees, a coffee-table book on toilet paper, a custom pair of Glass Animals-Denzel Curry nunchucks and a heating pad. He plays music, too! While he’s playing songs from the group’s third and most recent album, Dreamland, he gives an intimate and revealing look about the process behind the art — it’s probably the way a great many of the group’s songs were born.
“Live from My Den” is a digital series available on Variety.com showcasing some of today’s most extraordinary artists performing live from the creative spaces of their homes, studios, and cities most meaningful to them. Read the article and watch Glass Animals’ full episode here.
