Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley performs in his London home and gives a remarkable tour of his townhouse. Bayley, who is clad in stylish beige overalls and does some ambitious camerawork with his iPhone, gives a very detailed inspection of his enviable home studio. Amid all sorts of memorabilia, bric-a-brac and geegaws, look out for indoor palm trees, a coffee-table book on toilet paper, a custom pair of Glass Animals-Denzel Curry nunchucks and a heating pad. He plays music, too! While he’s playing songs from the group’s third and most recent album, Dreamland, he gives an intimate and revealing look about the process behind the art — it’s probably the way a great many of the group’s songs were born.

Glass Animals
Glass Animals are a musical group known for combining pop, indie, R&B and hip hop to create innovative and inviting music. This British electronic/pop band was formed in 2010 in Oxford, England led by Dave Bayley, Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane. Together, the band has three albums, Zaba (2014), How to be a Human Being (2016) and Dreamland (2020). Dreamland included the single “Tokyo Drifting” which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Alternative Song chart. In July 2021, their song “Heat Waves” was No.1 on Billboard Top TV Songs Chart, and No.19 on Billboard Hot 100 after appearing in the Netflix original, Never Have I Ever.
