Lord Huron

Lord Huron was originally the solo project of singer-songwriter Ben Schneider, who named the band after the Great Lake where he spent his summers growing up. Schneider’s childhood friends Mark Barry, Miguel Briseño, and Tom Renaud entered the fold a few years later to round out the band’s sonic presence. Known for blending folk stylings with elaborate worldbuilding and on-stage theatricality, Lord Huron has a penchant for expanding their musical lore with other types of media. Comic books, interactive websites, and VHS tapes all deepen the band’s lyrical storytelling and their relationships with dedicated fans.
