PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the “cookies” that are installed on the device through which you accessed the Site. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
To understand more about how we use Device Information, please see our Cookies Policy located here.
Additionally we may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us directly, when subscribing to our newsletters, entering into a sweepstakes or contest, completing a survey or otherwise, such as your name, email address, phone number and other unique identifiers. We refer to this information as “Account Information”.
From time to time, we may offer you the ability to make purchases through the Site. When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, our secure third-party payment service provider (currently, Shopify) may collect certain information from you, including your billing address, shipping address and payment information (including credit card numbers, billing and shipping addresses). This information is referred to as “Order Information”. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any Order Information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third-party payment service provider. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information, Account Information, Order Information, and any other information that may identify you.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Account Information that we collect generally to run the Site, such as by sending you updates and newsletters, responding to customer service requests, administering promotions and sweepstakes, and sending you our marketing communications. We use Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risks and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our users browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns), and as otherwise described in our Cookies Policy located here.

We share your Personal Information with third parties who perform services on our behalf for the purposes of operating the Site, including, without limitation, hosting the Site.
On the Site, we may from time to time partner with a retailer or other third party to offer online shopping opportunities, services, subscriptions and other applications on a co-branded or cross-promotional basis (“Third Party Service(s)”). Those transactions may take place on the Site, or the site of the party offering the Third Party Services. In either case, Personal Information you provide in connection with Third Party Services may be shared with the applicable third party, as well as with any participating sponsors or advertisers of such opportunities and features. Where you have consented to our use of your Personal Information in connection with Third Party Services, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt-out to further use by contacting guestservices@theartistsden.com. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Services. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
COOKIES, PIXEL TAGS/WEB BEACONS, ANALYTICS INFORMATION, AND BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING
We, as well as third parties that provide content, advertising or other functionality on our Site, may use cookies, pixel tags, local storage and other technologies (“Technologies”) to automatically collect information through the Site. We use Technologies that are essentially small data files placed on your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other devices that allow us to record certain pieces of information whenever you visit or interact with our website, services, applications, messaging and tools, and to recognize you across devices. Specific types of such Technologies are listed below:
Cookies. Cookies are small text files placed in visitors’ computer browsers to store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Site may not work properly.
Pixel Tags/Web Beacons. A pixel tag (also known as a web beacon) is a piece of code embedded on the Site that collects information about users’ engagement on that web page. The use of a pixel allows us to record, for example, that a user has visited a particular web page or clicked on a particular advertisement.
Social Media Widgets. The Site may include social media features such as links to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube (that might include widgets, such as, the share this button or other interactive mini-programs). These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Site and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. These social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
Analytics. We may also use Google Analytics and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics on the Site and to develop website content. This analytics data is not tied to any Personal Information. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can opt-out of Google’s collection and Processing of data generated by your use of the Services by going to https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our uses of such Technologies fall into the following general categories:
Operationally Necessary. We may use Technologies that are necessary to the operation of our Site. This includes Technologies that allow you access to our Site; that are required to identify irregular behavior on the Site, prevent fraudulent activity and improve security; or that allow you to make use of functions such as saved search or similar functions.
Performance Related. We may use Technologies to assess the performance of our Site, including as part of our analytic practices to help us understand how our visitors use our Site, determine whether you have viewed an item or link, or to improve our Site content, applications, services or tools.
Functionality Related. We may use Technologies that allow us to offer you enhanced functionality when accessing or using our Site. This may include keeping track of your specified preferences, interests or past items viewed so that we may enhance the presentation of content on our Site.
Advertising or Targeting Related. We may use first party or third party cookies and web beacons to deliver content, including ads relevant to your interests, on our Site or on third party sites. This includes using technologies to understand the usefulness to you of the advertisements and content that has been delivered to you, such as, whether you have clicked on an advertisement.
If you would like to opt-out of the Technologies we employ on our Site, you may do so by blocking, deleting or disabling them as your browser or device permits. Where you have consented to our use of your Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt-out to further use by contacting guestservices@theartistsden.com. Please note that blocking, deleting, or disabling these Technologies will affect the functionality of our Site, and may prevent you from being able to access certain features.
OPT-OUT; DO NOT TRACK
You have the right to object to and opt-out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information. Where you have consented to our use of your Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt-out to further use by contacting guestservices@theartistsden.com. Even if you opt-out, we may still collect and use non-Personal Information regarding your activities on our Site and/or information from the advertisements on third party websites for non-interest based advertising purposes, such as, to determine the effectiveness of the advertisements.
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
